Governor Dickson visits Amanyanabo of Abonnema, calls for Ijaw national unity and Integration

DSC_7052Governor Dickson visited Abonnema and was at the Palace of HRM Disrael Gbobo Bob-Manuel II at Akuku Toru LGA, Rivers State. This is in continuation of his service to the jaw nation as he encourages bridge building and closer ties by Ijaw people all over the country.
At the visit with Chiefs present at the Palace, he mentioned the Soko- Oluasiri dispute which was settled with maturity as a good sign for both States as this rivalry had preceded the creation of Bayelsa State. According to Governor Dickson`s Chief Press Secretary, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, the Governor also commended the people for complementing Governments efforts through self help projects and as well saluted them for their support of President Jonathan and his administration.
HRM Disrael Gbobo Bob-Manuel II in his response acknowledged the efforts of Governor Dickson as a champion of peace and made requests for completion of on going land reclamation projects as well as resuscitation of the sea port that existed in the-colonial era to boost socio-economic activities.
Governor Dickson was accompanied on the visit by the supervising Minister of Education, Hon. Nyesom Wike, Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prince Uche Secondus, Rivers State Chairman of PDP, Mr. Felix Obuah, Secretary to Bayelsa State Government, Professor Edmund Alison Oguru among others.
